What type of nannies do you place?
We have many different types of nannies so we may find your family's best possible match. All our nannies have at least 3 years experience working as a
professional nanny or educator and are the best our area has to offer. We have nanny's who are strictly professional nannies and have worked as such for over
20 years, while we also have nannies who are in their late 20's and 30's who have worked as a professional nanny for closer to 5 or 10 years. Our baby-sitters
are usually in their early 20's who are currently or have completed their teaching courses and have at least three years experience babysitting or working part
time in a day care or preschool.
Where do you find your nannies?
Each staff member has at least 15 years experience working as a nanny or educator (many receiving top nanny honors through the INA). We find the bulk of our
nannies and referrals by word of mouth. Our combined experience enables us to weed through our many applicants and pick only the best for our clients. If we
feel the nannies we currently have in our data bank do not meet the needs of your placement, we use other methods available to our agency.
How much do nannies and baby-sitters usually make?
We offer our clients only the best nannies and baby-sitters our area has to offer. They go the extra mile for the families they work for and we believe should be
compensated accordingly. Our baby-sitters make anywhere from $11-$15 per hour. Our nannies come from every different background and spectrum. Our
nannies make anywhere from $13-$20 per hour; some receive benefits and paid time off. The type of package you offer your nanny will have a direct impact on
what nannies will be interested in your position... The type of package you wish to offer your nanny is all up to you and we will assist you with any questions you
may have regarding what nannies generally expect.
Why do you have a flat rate placement fee?
Charging flat placement fees, versus charging 10% of the employee's gross (as most placement agencies do) enables families to offer what they feel their
employee deserves and not have to worry about their nanny's hourly rate affecting the final placement cost due to the agency. You shouldn't have to pay a huge
placement fee to have a premiere nanny agency working for you!
How long does the process take to find a long term placement?
Since placement is based on extremely specific details, Mommies Helping Mommies long term placements generally take 1-4 weeks. There are many factors
based on determining your placement's time frame and we do not rush this process. Mommies Helping Mommies does our best to find your best match in as
little time possible and offer complimentary temporary care if your placement happens to take longer. You will have peace of mind knowing your needs are
being taken care of by an experienced professional placement agency who takes your needs to heart.
